I have traced my great grandfather to a town called Orcas, Alsace, but I can't seem to find out where it is or if it still exists.

Could you give me some info on this town?

Finding Villages in Alsace

Hi Christine,

I didn't find it on any map that I have access to...

I don't know how keen you are on finding some maps from the 1800s of Alsace and getting out your magnifying glass and looking at them until you go cross eyed ; )

But that may unfortunately be one way to find out where Orcas was (although it's entirely possibly that it has been mispelled too...
