Veronica (Veronique) Stuckey mother of Catherine Stuckey

by Adam Trueblood
(Montgomery, Indiana United States)

My question is does anybody have any information about Catherine Stuckey?

She was born in Alsace, France in 1842 to Veronica (Veronique) Stuckey.

I am trying to figure out who her father is. I have not been able to locate any records of him.

Catherine also has a sister, Caroline, who I believe will have the same Father. Catherine, her mother, and some of the family members came to the United States in/around 1943 with her sister, Caroline, being born shortly after they got off the boat.

A few years after they arrived in the US Veronica married John Overholt and they had 3 sons together.

I know John is not her biological father. If anyone can help me find out information about her biological father from Alsace, France I would greatly appreciate it.

I am trying to finish a family genealogy report for my wife and this is a huge missing piece.

Thank you again.

Father?

So you are saying Bas-Rhin, Strasbourg is Catherine's birth father? All that was kind of confusing. I appreciate your input.
