The Peter family of Storckensohn, Haut Rhin, Alsace

Hello,

I am a descendant of Lucas Peter, son of Conrad Peter. Lucas emigrated to America in the mid-1800s. All we know of him is that he came from Alsace, and perhaps his roots are in Storckensohn. I would dearly love to find more about him, or anything at all about the Peter family.
