Any info on the sur name Foisset. I am trying to plan a trip to Alsace - Strasbourg to research my history. Any guidance is greatly appreciated

Not a surname I have heard

That is not a surname I've heard here in Alsace. Are you sure it's Alsace?

Could it be Lorraine or anywhere else?

I'm not saying it's impossible.

But the name seems French and not Alsatian.

To do any research, you'll need a place of birth or at least an idea of place of birth.

Otherwise, it's a needle in a haystack sort of situation unfortunately.
