The full name of your ancestor or ancestors is very important in case someone else here has something useful for you.

The years can be helpful too just to be sure that you are all talking about the same person.

Sometimes people have very similar names and you don't want info that isn't the right info.

The most important in terms of saving time researching is the where.

What village or town?

But listing out any and all ancestors, any and all dates, any and all towns or regions and any other bits of info that you find are really helpful.
