Hi Andre,

You have everything you need to do the research yourself!

Go look at the records and see if it's there.
It may be or not, there are certain years that burned up in fires usually because of various wars.

Strasbourg records, 1884, Georg Schott.

Ok there will be a lot of them in Strasbourg just in December for his birth, but very doable if you're up to it.

You're so lucky!
So many people contact me who don't have a place at all. Which means years of digging through records usually.
