You already have enough info to do some record searches for this ancestor.

Even if you don't have the exact date of birth, you can search the 10 to 20 years around when you think he was born.

Now...if he's in Colmar, there will be many more records and it will take longer because Colmar is a town. But it's still a good start.

And if you're hoping for people who already have this info, add more to your post so that it show up when they search about their family history on Google.
