I am looking for a scenic 1 day horseback riding in Alsace hoping to go through the vineyards and interesting things.

Any suggestions?

Horseback Riding in Alsace

Hi Lisa,

To my knowledge, I haven't seen any horseback riding excursions on the wine road in Alsace...

I haven't even seen any advertised.

It doesn't mean that they aren't there. Check with the tourist office when you get to Alsace.

I've seen plenty of horse farms in Alsace, but usually they are either in the Vosges or on the plains closer to the Rhine.

But I don't think many of these businesses will speak much English. German or French only which is typical in Alsace (in non touristy areas).

I'm currently working on some guide books for English speaking visitors to Alsace.

I will definitely look into horseback riding tours to add to the books!
