I am looking for information in regards to Hans George Zweyer. The information I have says he was born in 1700 Alsace, France and that he was married to Mary Julianna but I have no maiden name for her. I also have an immigration record for about 1751 to America. They had a son: Stephennus Zweyer who married Anna Maria Stahl. They were also born in Alsace France.

I would like to know several things:
Who were Hans George Zweyer's parents/family connections? What kind of work did he do?
Was he German or French? I've been told we had some French Huguenot ancestors.
What was his wife's maiden name? Any family connections?
Was there a push to leave France at that time? 1751?
