Genealogy Service?

Hello! I am hoping to find someone who can help me research one of my ancestors who immigrated to the U.S. and was from Marlenheim, France (born in 1812). Is there a genealogy service? Is there a service than can help translate from Alsation to English? Thank you!

I used to do this and now only do it when I have room in my schedule. It's a very time consuming project.

If you list your ancestor's name, you might connect with someone who already has this info and can share it with you.

In your case, the records would be in French in 1812. But also handwritten which is the bigger challenge.

But you know which village and that is the most important part.

It wouldn't be written in Alsatian because Alsatian is a spoken language not a written one really.

You're welcome to email me and check if I'm available.

Wishing you lots of luck with your search,
Suzele
