Family History in the Alsace region

My father recalls his great grandmother and father were from a family in Alsace.

There names were Fredrich Wilhelm PIETZER 1847-1930 and Johanna Louisa Bergemann 1846-1928.

I am in Alsace currently and would love to visit the village or find out any information about this family.

Hi Sandi,

Based on the information you have given, I can't really say where they lived.

Records are organized by town or village, so you have to look in all of them to find what you are looking for.

Of course unless you have more information that narrows it down a it.

Alsace has tons of villages and it could take a really long time or a lot of luck to find out where your family is from without more clues.
