This one is clean and conveniently located. This particular hostel attracts a lot of students. Breakfast is available and it's only 20 minutes from the Cathedral. If you can only afford $20 a night, it's a deal, but if you've got $50 or more to spend, there are much better options in Strasbourg. Go to discount hotels in Strasbourg for more info... This hostel is a little more out of the way than the Ciarus, but with Strasbourg's tram system, you're never more than ten minutes from the center of Strasbourg and you'll get a quieter crowd here.
