WW 2 region N NWof Strasbourg.

by Linda Eason
(Americus, Ga USA)

My family ( 4 adults and 4 children) will be visiting the area in early May. I am particularly interested in WW2 sites in the northern region near Ingwiller to Neiderschlettenbach, Germany. My Father in law served with the 411 in this area and we would like to visit that area in particular. Are you knowledgeable about this area or know someone who is? Does you guide book have any information on this area?

(The area in Germany is where he received a Bronze Star for bravery.)

Your help would be much appreciated!

Merci,

Linda Eason,

Guide Book
by: Suzele

Hi Linda,

My guide book doesn't really talk about Germany at all. But it does point out pretty much everything worth seeing in the Northern area of Alsace, specifically north of Strasbourg.

And it includes Strasbourg which is convenient as it's a pretty big city and there's a lot to do and see there.

My general philosophy in my business (tours included) is to go to the spots that you would not be able to find easily on your own.

And include the other fun and more well known spots as well just in case you're interested.

I also as a general rule create tours or provide information that I consider helpful and interesting. Of course my tours offer more than the guide book or the website.

Enjoy your trip to Alsace : )
