Strasbourg Hotel Directory

Are You Looking for a Mid Range Hotel?

If you're looking for mid range hotels, this Strasbourg hotel directory will help you find what you are looking for!

Most of these hotels are three stars...

Some are more value oriented while others are more for those of you looking for something just a little more luxurious.

Some of the hotels in this Strasbourg hotel directory are mid range hotels because of their great location!

Best Western Monopole Metropole Hotel ($77-211)

If you're looking for a hotel near the train station and tram stops, this is a great hotel choice for you! Great three star Best Western hotel with free breakfast. Close to everything you'd like to see in Strasbourg (approximately a third of a mile or .6 km). Reasonable room rates for Strasbourg, but remember to reserve this hotel in advance. They tend to be full for last minute travel plans.

Hotel du Dragon ($88-143)

Here is a three star hotel just five minutes from the cathedral at a reasonable price! Quiet location in a historic building, but they don't have air conditioning. So this might not be the best hotel for you in the summer if you are especially sensitive to high temperatures. But you can get a room for under 100 € most of the year.

Hotel Gutenberg ($85-138)

If I didn't mention that the Hotel Gutenberg was a two star hotel, you wouldn't know it because it's just as nice as any three star hotel in this Strasbourg hotel directory. In fact, you might get a room with a view of the Cathedral. It has everything you need, breakfast, parking, and air conditioning and you can get a room for under 100 € most of the year.

Hilton Strasbourg ($96-335)

The Strasbourg Hilton is a four star business hotel located a little closer to the European Parliament building and that whole area of Strasbourg. But there is a tram stop nearby and you can be on your way to the cathedral in just three tram stops. You'll see a lot of MEPs (members of the European Parliament) at this hotel.

Hotel Royal Lutetia ($81-109)

Here's a nice little three star hotel for a good price just a 7 minute bus ride to the cathedral or a 15 minute walk. You can also take that bus to the train station which is very convenient. Recently updated, clean, with everything you need in a hotel!

Hotel Villa d'Est ($79-182)

This three star hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood about 15 minutes from the Cathedral. It's been recently renovated and WiFi is free. The decor is quite different and very original. Nothing like you would normally find in a three star hotel. Not bad at all for the price. Although breakfast is a bit pricy at 14 € per person.

Hotel Hannong ($98-195)

Right around the corner from La Petite France and a very short walk to the cathedral, Hotel Hannong is reasonably priced for being where it is. The rooms are a little small, but WiFi is free. Some rooms are better than others at this hotel.

Maison Rouge Hotel ($85-186)

This three star hotel is very well situated near Place Kleber for all of your shopping needs and at the same time a five minute walk to the cathedral and La Petite France. It could be a little noisy because of the trams. Parking, breakfast and WiFi available for an extra charge.

Holiday Inn Strasbourg City Centre ($105-305)

If you need a four star hotel with a nice indoor swimming pool and work out/fitness room, this is a good choice for you. The Holiday Inn Strasbourg City Centre is located closer to the European Parliament and its buildings, but there are tram stops right next door and you can be near the historic district in three stops or walk there in 15 minutes. The rooms are relatively large by European standards.

Mercure Strasbourg Centre ($116-226)

The Mercure Strasbourg Centre is a three star hotel right next door to the Hotel Sofitel Strasbourg and a great location near Place Kleber. Perfect for shopping, right next to the trams, and a short walk (or tram ride) to the historic center of Strasbourg. Not a bad hotel choice if you can get a room for a good price.

Le Grand Hotel ($90-266)

Here is a three star hotel right across the street from the train station, so it's a 10 minute walk to the touristy areas of Strasbourg. Free breakfast buffet and WiFi in the room. The lower priced rooms might not have air conditioning. Parking across the street if you need it.

Hotel Diana Dauphine ($88-189)

A nice three star hotel near the trams and only 10 minutes from the cathedral and shopping and very reasonably priced parking (for the center of Strasbourg) although not recommended for those with very large vehicles. Air conditioned with nicely sized rooms.

Hotel Chateau de Pourtales ($83-145)

If the idea of staying in a 300 year old chateau appeals to you, the Hotel Chateau de Pourtales may be just what you are looking for! WiFi and parking are free. This hotel is not near the center of Strasbourg but you can easily get there by driving to the Robertsau Park n Ride where you can park your car and take a tram to the historic district of Strasbourg (parking and round trip tram ride for a few euros for your entire party).

Novotel Strasbourg Centre Halles ($111-230)

If you've ever stayed at a Novotel, you know what to expect. A standard room comes with a double bed and small pull out sofa. Rooms for two people are somewhat large by European standards. Just down the street from Place Kleber and all the shops in Strasbourg and a 10 minute walk to La Petite France or the cathedral.

Hotel Cardinal de Rohan ($115-198)

What is special about this three star hotel is its location. It is literally a few steps down the street from the cathedral and a part of the historical district itself. WiFi is included in the cost. Because it is in the pedestrian zone, parking is not right next door and somewhat pricey. It's a great hotel with helpful and friendly staff, but remember it's a standard three star hotel. With this Strasbourg hotel directory choice you are paying for the location.

Hotel Cathedrale ($83-153)

This little three star hotel is (as you would expect) right across the street from the Cathedral in Strasbourg. Other than its location, it's a pretty standard three star hotel. It has air conditioning and free WiFi. Good breakfast. Because the hotel is in a pedestrian zone, parking is not next door and a bit pricey. Room decor varies and can be a bit old fashioned, but it's a fantastic price for the location.

Best Western Hotel de l'Europe ($90-313)

This three star hotel is a part of the historic areas of Strasbourg, only 15 minutes from the train station and right next door to La Petite France. For those looking for charming Alsatian style rooms, this is a great Strasbourg hotel directory choice for you! Although they do have modern contemporary style rooms too. Air conditioned, free WiFi, nice breakfast, but it would be better to use public parking outside of the pedestrian zone (at a reduced rate for hotel guests).

Mercure Strasbourg Gare Centrale ($110-221)

If you've ever stayed in a Mercure hotel, you know what to expect. This three star Mercure hotel is no different. It's conveniently located just a few minutes from the train station and right next to the trams so you can be anywhere in Strasbourg quickly and easily. Great breakfast, free WiFi, and parking available.

Hotel Baumann at Maison Kammerzell ($102-122)

This is a one of a kind hotel experience in Strasbourg. This very small three star boutique hotel just happens to be in one of the most famous and photographed buildings in Strasbourg, the Maison Kammerzell right across from the cathedral. Each room is unique as you would expect in a 15th century building. Most rooms are relatively spacious with free WiFi and a reasonably priced breakfast. No parking available.

Best Western Hotel de France ($76-221)

This three star Best Western has recently been renovated and has changed management too. At the moment, I can't really recommend this hotel on my Strasbourg hotel directory, but perhaps that will change in the near future... It's in a good location about five minutes from the train station and a 10 minute walk to the cathedral and La Petite France. The lack of good soundproofing and a low quality breakfast buffet could be balanced out with a lower price for someone looking for a budget hotel.

Hotel Pere Benoit

The Hotel Pere Benoit is a beautifully renovated farm house (and other buildings) about 10 minutes from the Strasbourg airport in Entzheim. Not really a good location for those not renting a car, BUT if you are planning on driving around Alsace, this small hotel would be an interesting stop! Charming and very Alsatian with a great breakfast and a fantastic restaurant. Room are simple but charming.
